FOLLOWING THE SUCCESS OF THE HVAC&R INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY CONFERENCE THE CLIMATE CONTROL COMPANIES ASSOCIATION (CCCA) ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE…
Rob Morgan, Director for Refrigeration Specialities Ltd (Refspecs) has been appointed into the Suppliers and Manufacturers sector representative role on the CCCA board. Rob is well known to many in the industry, and is a former Chair of the CCCA.
News of an annual education scholarship for a CCCA member company employee for training, or education was announced at the HVAC&R Industry Formal Awards Function at the Spencer on Byron Hotel in early April.
The award is to be used for any course that will upskill individuals in specific areas of need in the industry. This can be either local or international courses.
“This is an area where the CCCA can assist member companies with increasing the knowledge and skills of key employees in the industry. The board sees this initiative as pivotal over the long term for the association” says Matthew Darby, Chair of CCCA.
CCCA and the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (EECA) have signed an agreement to develop a product and installer accreditation scheme for CCCA member companies. The purpose of this is to recognise businesses that work to improve energy efficiency standards and gains for customers. More information will be available via the Member update www.ccca.org.nz
“Exciting times ahead for the association as we continue to form closer business alliances”, says Paul Town, Executive Officer for CCCA.
