CCCANZ is pleased to announce the CCCANZ Managing for Profit Scholarship. The value of this scholarship is $3000 towards the cost of attending this unique course in Australia.
Applications open on February 1st 2018, and close on March 3rd 2018.
“Managing for Profit” is a programme run in Melbourne, Australia by AMCA (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association) www.amca.com.au . It involves a 17 weeks off campus industry supported study programme plus two residential workshops, each of one week’s duration.
This cost includes course materials, morning/afternoon teas and lunches. It does not include airfares and accommodation.
The programme exposes those responsible for managing cost centres to systematic strategies for achieving better and more profitable outcomes. The course work covers aspects of management including planning, OHS, risk assessment, scheduling, communication, negotiation skills and environmental management.
Who should apply: Employees of a financial member company of CCCANZ, who have had experience managing small to medium projects will gain the most from attending. It is recommended that participants decide on their personal action plans and goals prior to beginning the programme. An example would be participant’s skill requirements for improving cost control and on time completion of jobs.
